Avoid allergens (e.g. flower, plants, rotten leaves, catkin and pollen) as much as possible. Wearing a mask will efficiently stop bacteria and allergens from entering the mouth and nasal area. When coming home, wash the nasal cavity with water significantly reduces the attached allergen.

Allergy prone person will pay extra attention to protect themselves by balancing work and rest, doing more exercise and avoiding catching cold. Clean the living room, especially air-con and screen window completely. Shower before sleep to maintain a good personal hygiene.

During epidemical seasons, it’s better not to wear contact lens. In case of itchy eyes and lacrimation, use eye drops without preservative and do not rub with hands to prevent virus or bacteria from entering the eyes and induce secondary infection.

Hair and dust mite from pets are common allergens, thus, living with pets is not recommended. Allergy prone person should avoid touching animals.
